As part of our team, you will be involved in real estate matters where we offer various kinds of services including operational gap evaluations, systems assessments, operational model design, future state requirements definition, current and future state process design, systems design, testing and implementation, post go live support, provisioning of real estate managed services and support the broader real estate and capital projects team. Meaningful work you’ll be part of As a Real Estate Managing Director you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contribute to the growth of the digital real estate practice through leveraging the firm’s network in addition to your own sphere of influence, establishing business development verticals you will lead and grow sales Lead our Yardi systems implementation team including implementing efficiencies across the implementation lifecycle model, developing frameworks and standards for requirements, design, construction, testing and support capabilities, identifying skills gaps and provide recommendations to support practice growth objectives Conduct operational gap evaluations to identify areas for improvement in current processes and systems for our clients and perform comprehensive systems assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing real estate management systems Define future state requirements to ensure that real estate operations are strategically positioned for growth and success Create detailed current and future state process designs to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency and develop systems design specifications that meet the unique needs of the organization and its clients Oversee the testing and implementation of new systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality and establish post-go-live support to address any issues and ensure successful system adoption Grow relationships with existing clients by demonstrating subject matter expertise and knowledge in the industry and provide guidance and resolve problems to address client challenges as they transform business operations and adopt new technology solutions Managing the provisioning of real estate managed services to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions to clients Participate in our deals ecosystem by supporting our real assets, restructuring, and value creation practices which often have projects with real estate scope Contribute to thought leadership, pitches, proposal development and other business development and lead digital real estate project teams, and contribute to team development through coaching and sharing technical knowledge across the national and global PwC network Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve Strong technical skills implementing and supporting Yardi software modules and strong commitment to identifying and addressing client needs and building, maintaining, and utilizing client networks and community involvement Dynamic, entrepreneurial style to identify and execute on new market opportunities Proven ability to manage multiple project workflows and deliver on time Proactive, takes ownership of tasks and assignments, accepts responsibility for outcomes Experienced at preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials Considerable experience as a team leader: leading diverse teams to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback Some knowledge in one or more of the following would be favorable: operating model design, system selection, delivery of operational managed services (support, accounting, regulatory compliance) A chartered Professional Accountant along with accounting experience in the Real Estate Industry would be an asset Industry experience in any of the following should be included: property management, construction and investment and financial accounting A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences, developing and coaching diverse teams, and ensuring diverse perspectives are heard Why you’ll love PwC We’re inspiring and empowering our people to change the world.
