We currently have an opening for a full-time Liquor Manager at our Lacombe Liquor Store. As the Liquor Manager, you are reporting to the Division Manager and will be responsible for the organization, direction, and coordination of the Lacombe Liquor Store to achieve budgeted goals.
Position: Liquor Manager
Full-time: 40 hours per week. Eligible for benefits after 3 months. If you are relocating from another province, please ensure you have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.
Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and coaching to the Liquor team
Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op's and AGLC's policies, procedures, and requirements
To achieve budgeted goals as related to sales, margins, expenses, inventory and SPEH
Scheduling, Team Member training, performance reviews, and recruitment
Process accurate paperwork in a timely manner
Oversee inventory control, ordering and receiving
Ensure a safe work and shopping environment
Keep familiar and up to date with current and new products on the market
Other duties as required by the Division Manager
Qualifications:
Must have valid ProServe certification
3-5 year of management experience
Previous liquor experience
Excellent leadership skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets
