POSITION TITLE: Senior Analyst, Financial Systems and Consolidations (NOC 11101)
SUMMARY & SCOPE: Reporting to the Director, Financial Reporting in the Corporate Finance group, the Senior Analyst, Financial Systems and Consolidations will be heavily involved in the ongoing development and maintenance of the Company’s corporate financial reporting systems and processes acting as the Primary Administrator for all Oracle EPM applications (FCCS, ARC, EPB) and Oracle HFM.
DEPARTMENT: Finance REPORTS TO: Director, Financial Reporting
Location: Oakville, Ontario (This is a hybrid role, 4 days in office, 1 WFH day)
Duration of Position: Permanent Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: $80,000 - $94,000 annually
Vacation: 15 days vacation (current year accrual, prorated in first year)
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain all Oracle EPM Applications including metadata, rules, hierarchies and security
Optimization of Oracle FCC consolidation data structures and reporting hierarchies including management of financial calculation scripts and business rules
Design & configuration of interfaces to ensure the complete and accurate exchange of data from the company’s various accounting systems to the corporate reporting systems
Ensure data integrity within FCCS and coordinate data loads and mapping
Design & Update Financial Reports for users in Narrative Reporting Tool and Smart View
Provide training and support to the reporting divisions on the use of functionalities Smart View usage
Update Oracle FCCS for ongoing legal entity changes and mergers and validate system calculations for these changes
Identify opportunities to improve/innovate financial reporting processes and procedures in Oracle FCCS and the Narrative reporting tool
Support other business units on their ad-hoc requests for information
Support the preparation of Financial Statement and Internal Management Reports
Support the external audit process
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline is an asset
CPA designation is an asset
Experience:
Minimum 3 years’ hands on experience working with accounting systems and best financial practices for a large organization preferably in the steel industry
Skills:
Admin Experience working with Oracle EPM Applications (FCC, ARC, EPB) and Hyperion HFM is a must
Solid understanding of Financial Statements, Consolidation principles, intercompany eliminations, and journal posting processes
Strong data analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to execute in a high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, and build relationships with all levels within an organization
