Our employer partner, a Canadian financial services company that operates equities, fixed income, derivatives, and energy markets exchanges is looking to add an ambitious and energetic Business Operations Analyst to their team!
The Business Operations Analyst will work within a small cross-functional team to provide excellent client service and support for Listed Companies, Participating Organizations and Data Product clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about market data, corporate actions, compliance and governance, quality assurance and thrives on providing a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Administration and front-line support of Issuers specific to Company Reporting requirements such as Company distribution declarations.
Ensure prompt and accurate processing of Company distributions by maintaining high standards of stewardship through an effective client-focused approach.
Maintenance of daily Corporate Actions, Trading and Distributions with a high degree of accuracy and stewardship
Responsible for the record keeping, administration and reporting of Financial and Trading Statistics press releases
Quality assurance of daily, Monthly and annual electronic products, publications and with different reporting requirements
Assist in the Compliance and Governance of Equity Market Operations
Maintain Company Earnings, including receiving Earnings statements, updating internal databases and reconciling Company discrepancies
Flexible Team player with the ability to work cooperatively and regularly interact within Equities Trade Desk, Market Solutions, Listed Services, CDS, Public Relations, Participating Organizations and Investment Industry Regulatory Organization etc.
Provide fair and impartial guidance, direction and administration for Issuers as per Company Manual, other marketplaces, traders and general public
Conduct research with an attention to detail and the ability to respond to ad hoc queries and requests within a fast-paced dynamic environment
Ability to work flexible shifts within 7:30-5:30pm in a hybrid environment
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics or other related degrees
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Good communication and reconciliation skills
Strong organizational skills with an attention to details
Proficiency in Spreadsheet software and PC software systems
Motivated learner, attention to detail and team player
Completion or enrolment in Canadian Securities Course would be an asset
3-5 years of experience/knowledge in Operations processes or Securities Accounting in the Securities Financial Industry
