Position Summary:
The Studio Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of studio performance with a strong focus on sales, membership growth, and revenue generation. You’ll lead by example, build a high-performing team, and ensure the studio operates smoothly and profitably — while delivering an exceptional member experience.
This is a high-impact role for a sales-savvy leader who thrives in a goal-driven environment and is passionate about health and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Growth:
Drive membership and retail sales through effective lead generation, outreach, and follow-up strategies.
Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
Implement local marketing initiatives and partnerships to increase brand awareness and community engagement.
Track sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize conversion and retention.
Train and motivate the sales team to deliver exceptional performance and service.
Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and manage front desk staff and sales team.
Conduct regular performance reviews and team coaching to support professional growth.
Foster a positive, energetic, and goal-oriented studio culture.
Collaborate with fitness coaches to ensure a seamless front-of-house and back-of-house experience.
Studio Operations:
Oversee daily operations including scheduling, payroll, inventory, and supplies.
Ensure the studio is consistently clean, organized, and in line with Orangetheory brand standards.
Resolve member issues with professionalism, speed, and care.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and member engagement.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of sales leadership or fitness studio/retail management experience required.
Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and driving team performance.
Background in fitness, wellness, or health services is strongly preferred.
Post-secondary education in business, fitness, or related field an asset.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a results-oriented mindset.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM/sales software and scheduling systems.
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain).
Passionate about health, fitness, and community-building.
