As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining multiple CNC machines to produce precision parts and components, with a focus on hard- and micro-machining. You will utilize your expertise in CAMtool and MasterCAM to ensure the highest quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate multiple CNC machines for hard- and micro machining applications
Use of CAMtool and MasterCAM software for programming
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards
Train and mentor junior CNC operators in specialized machining techniques
Collaborate with engineering and coworker to optimize manufacturing processes
Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a CNC operator, with a minimum of 5 years in hard- and/or micro-machining
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically using CAMtool and MasterCAM
Strong knowledge of hard- and micro machining techniques, strategies and processes
Ability to setup multiple workpieces at the same time to support unattended machining
Excellent knowledge of metric and imperial system
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Background in tool manufacturing and/or tool making is beneficial
