Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.
Position Overview
The incumbent is responsible for providing clerical support to Health Information Services by accurately preparing payroll and related paperwork, maintaining position control, registering new hires in orientation sessions, ensuring that the Manager(s) is/are aware of staffing levels, maintaining information and employee profiles in the SAP & ESP staff scheduling system, updating the day to day schedule changes in SAP & ESP, running staffing reports, submits access requests form for employees as requested and performs other clerical duties as assigned.
Experience
Minimum two years recent experience in a related health care setting required.
Preference will be given to those candidates with previous staff scheduling experience.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
Complete grade 12 education, Manitoba standards, required.
Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program, required.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.

Qualifications and Skills
Typing 50 wpm.
Knowledge of personal computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of SAP & ESP required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and decision-making skills required.
Must have excellent English communication skills in oral and written.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to function in a high volume, high traffic environment.
Frequent interruptions.
No natural light.
Must be able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
