Job Summary: CSA Group is offering an opportunity for a student to join the Strategic Development (SD) team in Toronto starting on September 2, 2025, for a preferred term of 12 - 16 months (Minimum 8 months). Strategic Development (SD) team supports executive leadership team and senior leaders by facilitating and coordinating development of long-term strategic direction for CSA Group’s Testing, Inspection, & Certification organization (TIC) and individual business units. We work on high impact projects focused on identifying and assessing strategic growth opportunities. The Intern, Strategic Development will be an integral part of the Strategic Development team, providing support in developing business strategies to drive our business forward. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of corporate strategy, with ample guidance and support from senior team members. In addition, the Intern, Strategic Development will have direct and meaningful exposure to leaders in CSA Group. Responsibilities: Assist in the development and refinement of our corporate strategy, simplifying complex concepts and contributing to strategic initiatives. Support the analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, internal capabilities, and financial feasibility to identify growth opportunities Participate in the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership, ensuring clarity and simplicity in communication. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and data, facilitating strategic decisions. Engage in special projects with the mentorship of senior team members, who will provide a supportive learning environment. Education & Experience: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, in 3rd or 4th year, with a focus on Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field. Available for a co-op term of 8 months or longer (ideally between 12 to 16 months). Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Financial modelling skill is an asset, but the successful candidate will have opportunity to develop / strengthen these skills with guidance from seniors.
