We currently have an opportunity for a Lab Technician - Term to join our team at our newly constructed, state of the art, Richardson Innovation Centre, located in downtown Winnipeg, MB. Under the Supervision of our Lab and Analytics Team Lead the successful candidate will join a team of Quality Assurance and Food Safety professionals, serving our grain handling and export and food processing businesses. Responsibilities: Testing grains, ingredients, and finished products to ensure accurate composition, quality, and food safety Preparing and testing samples (swabs, grain, ingredients, and food products) for microbiological and allergen hazards Reporting analytical test results and preparing reports for Laboratory Management The testing and calibration of laboratory equipment Supporting the Lab Housekeeping Program Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or Chemistry Skilled in collecting and interpreting laboratory data, along with managing sample storage and retrieval in a lab environment Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications specifically Word and Excel Experience working in a grain and/or food processing analytical environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment Ability to complete Term from August 2025 – August 2026 required Richardson International provides an excellent compensation package consisting of competitive salary, pension, a flexible benefits plan and training and career development opportunities.
