Job Details and Description
The Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) Task Force is looking for one student-at-large member to sit on the Task Force. The core responsibilities of members of the SGBV Task Force shall be to:
Engage with constituents and interest-holders;
Educate themselves about SGBV and concerns in relation to campus SGBV;
Complete any assignments given by the Task Force to an individual member or members, including but not limited to researching a specific topic or engaging with a particular set of interest-holders;
Advise the VPSL and provide perspective on advocacy efforts;
Regularly attend Task Force meetings.
The SGBV Task Force will be overseen and chaired by the Vice President (Student Life) and the student-at-large will be a voting member.
The term is from May 2025 to January 2026.
Qualifications
Must be an undergraduate student enrolled in at least one course for credit in the Fall and Winter semesters of the 2025/26 academic year.
An interest in SGBV advocacy and a desire to raise awareness about and contribute to the reduction of campus SGBV is considered an asset.

The short writing sample should answer the question: What interests you in being a part of the SGBV Task Force? Writing samples should not exceed 250 words.
