Integrity, Inspiration, Quality and Teamwork!Job DescriptionThe Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for mechanical maintenance work performed under the direct supervision of the Residential Services Site Manager, Assistant Site Manager or Shift Supervisor at the Toronto Pearson Airport. Must be able to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities:Recover and repair mechanical issues and errors on the material handling systemReset errors due to luggage, equipment, or operatorAssist engineers with fault finding and maintenance activitiesCarry out system maintenance, and cleaning of assets and surrounding areasSupport activities with BEUMER Group products and systems in response to customer requirementsMonitor the performance of the material handling systemAdhere to the various quality and reporting systems. (CMMS System)Adhere to all Health and Safety RequirementsProvide adequate feedback and intelligence to BEUMER Group managementReport spare parts usage. (CMMS System)Follow escalation procedures when neededQualificationsRequirements:Licensed Industrial Millwright 443A certificate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial facility working with baggage handling systems and/or automated systems in material handling industries, operations, and maintenanceRAIC Security Clearance or the ability to obtain/maintain such clearanceStrategy insight and comprehensionExcellent Written & Verbal Communications skills (English)Relevant system and product knowledgeCompetencies in objective analysis and developmentPositive and professional demeanorProficient at using computers and working with maintenance software, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to lift/carry up to 50 poundsAdditional InformationBEUMER is an innovative intralogistics company, where every employee is part of the "family".
