What to Expect
We are looking for a Boutique Supply Planner based at our Montreal location reporting into the Demand & Supply Planning Manager. The Boutique Supply Planner is responsible to plan, control and execute the replenishment of Nespresso Boutiques across Canada maximizing product availability while maintaining appropriate stock levels. This person will act as Supply Chain liaison for all Boutiques communications, questions, and logistic processes.
A day in the life of a Boutique Supply Planner
Boutique Planning
Plan and place Boutique replenishment orders based on established stock levels, promotions allocation and storage capacity ensuring proper product availability for Boutique Sales
Determine stock level targets for each boutique given their unique combination of sales volumes and physical layout.
Follow stock levels on a daily basis and adjust/adapt future orders where required always respecting appropriate targets
Collaborate with Demand and Supply Planners to anticipate all stock issues to plan appropriate replenishment strategies to avoid out of stocks
Constantly review Boutiques order & delivery schedule with focus on optimal preparation and freight costs
Ensure KPI’s are in place and results are published on a monthly basis as well follow-up on improvement actions when/where applicable
Enforce logistics procedures and best practices within Boutiques
Delivery Follow-up
Manage boutique logistic activities with local 3PL and Carriers to ensure appropriate Service Level are achieved based on formal agreements
Support boutiques on any issue regarding orders, shipments and deliveries and follow up with our logistic, delivery service or partners’ teams when required
Manage inventory transactions in boutiques in case of short/over shipments
Work closely with our Physical Logistics and Delivery Services teams on corrective measures ensuring action-plan is in place to assist and address in case of underperformance of our logistic partner and/or carriers.
Logistic Optimization
Take into account boutique geographical considerations for delivery needs
Depending on sales volumes and physical size, calculate the appropriate number of inventory turns to calculate the appropriate replenishment schedule.
Continuous review replenishment strategy to take into account baseline growth, launches and peak season.
Review and challenge monthly inventory results.
Calculate key performance indicators on a weekly or Monthly basis.
Ensure compliance with Nestlé Internal control standard and with Standard operation Procedure linked with the position.
Role Requirements
Bilingualism in English and French language skills are a requirement, as this position requires collaboration with stakeholders across the Canadian market and/or worldwide.
University Degree or equivalent; preferably with a specialization in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations
3-5 years of experience in demand & supply planning, or allocation planning in the retail environment
Use of Information Systems and Information Technology
Analytical skills.
