The Field Inspector/Site Supervisor would be responsible for both field work and office work completing required engineering tasks at the direction of the Team Lead. This is a regular, full-time position requiring extended hours during peak construction season and the ability to effectively lead while on active construction sites.

Your Contribution
Inspect, survey, test and measure quality of materials, products, and installations according to specifications and blueprints
Complete topographic surveys using a Total station or GPS
Receive and record all field samples for testing
Prepare daily test summary reports for engineering projects
Review, develop and properly reference construction drawings
Communicate results effectively with onsite personnel and Englobe supervisor
Review materials and equipment conditions
Ensure safety protocols are met at all times
Your Profile
Eng or PTech designation, other combinations of work and experience may be considered
Minimum 5 years construction experience
Self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
Knowledge and understanding of survey equipment
Experience with construction documents and specifications
Knowledge of Microsoft and AutoCAD software would be an asset
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Ability to travel within Atlantic Canada
Able to work independent, and within a team, and utilize good judgement
Good communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work extended hours to meet construction needs
