Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity You will lead and drive change within Product UX/UI Design inclusive of design thinking, design strategy, process harmonization, unified experiences, across all product and solutions. You will assume overall accountability of the Product UX/UI designers to guide best practices, create high-quality product and solution design standardization to unify the experience. You will lead the team to drive a connection between user experience and product design system synergies. You will also lead and influence level of adoption through cohesive user experience for product design in collaboration with Product Managers and Product Analysts. For optimum success in this role, a strategic mindset, the ability to influence peers and Leadership with collaboration across the organization to achieve corporate goals will be essential. Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid work schedule. Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product Shared Services. Your Moneris Career - What you'll do Define Product Design Strategy: Establishing the long-term vision and strategy for product design, ensuring it aligns with our overall goals and market trends Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify opportunities, understand customer needs, and analyze competitors Product Design Roadmap: Developing and maintaining product design roadmaps that prioritize design system, features, enhancements based on strategic goals and customer feedback while maintaining design integrity and current in market trends and conditions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Working with teams across the organization, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure cohesive product UX and UI . Innovation and Creativity: Facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions to foster innovation and produce creative solutions Data and Metrics: Monitoring performance metrics to evaluate the product's success and use feedback loop to make informed decisions for future improvements Stakeholder Communication: Engage with partners to communicate the product design vision and gather insights, ensuring understanding and collaboration Your Moneris Career - What you bring Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience. Master's degree considered an asset Minimum 7 years of experience working in and managing the delivery of product design Minimum 5 years people management and leadership Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
