We are seeking a professional like you to join the BASF Coatings Windsor production facility. In this role, you will be responsible to set the direction, lead implementation and ensure compliance with BASF and regulatory process safety requirements. In this role, you will serve as the Process Safety expert for ECP Coatings North America and the Windsor ECP Coatings facility. The role may require traveling 5% of the time.

Providing process safety expertise during safety reviews for new and existing processes.
Improving technical competency in process safety and that of colleagues.
Interpreting, communicating, and developing compliance strategies for company, federal, state, and provincial requirements.
Ensuring the safe, environmentally sound, and sustainable design and operation.
Developing and implementing Process Safety programs and culture.
Managing change support and incident investigation support.
If you...
Hold a Technical Engineering or Science-related BS degree (or higher degree).
Have strong expertise in regulatory and technical aspects of process safety.
Possess at least 5-8 years of experience in process safety.
Have supervisory or management experience.
Possess 4-6 years of EHS experience in a chemical/manufacturing environment.
Show excellent communication skills ability to work independently and interact with all levels of the organization as well as regulatory agencies.
Demonstrate collaboration, leadership, teamwork and customer focus.
