Job Summary
We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Yard Forklift Operator to join our growing team in our Distribution Centre pipe yard located in Abbotsford, BC. You will be required to work in all climate conditions, must be capable of lifting 30+ pounds repeatedly, must possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals as well as RF scanning equipment, and are prepared to meet any challenge.
Principal Responsibilities
Be knowledgeable in Forklift operation and Safety practices
Be knowledgeable on RF processes
Accurately select and set up orders to ship – usually same-day.
Work proficiently against Productivity and Quality targets.
Maintain a strict housekeeping standard.
Load / unload Flatbed and Dry Van tractor trailers.
Receive product from other locations
Communicate with Shippers and fittings pickers on load setup and picking requirements on dual-zone orders.
Deal directly with Customers and Drivers
Be available and assist in yearly Inventory count.
Report Safety and Security issues to your direct supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
Completion of a High-School
Previous experience safely operating a forklift equipment in a busy warehouse/manufacturing environment; forklift license preferred
Experience operating an RF environment is an asset
Excellent communication skills, including written & verbal skills
Successful candidate must complete a criminal background check and a pre-employment physical examination.

Day Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM
Pay rate starting at $25.81/hr (+$1.50/hr shift premium)
