Our client, a top 5 bank, is hiring a KYC Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Remediation Specialist to support the Entity Management Remediation Project within Capital Markets. This role involves conducting in-depth entity research, data updates, and industry classification, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information in our internal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough entity research using public sources and approved third-party sources.
• Perform industry analysis with a focus on Know Your Customer (KYC) principles.
• Classify entities based on ownership status (e.g., US government-owned, state-owned, private, publicly listed).
• Investigate ownership chains to identify connections or relationships with US government entities.
• Determine and apply appropriate NAICS codes.
• Remediate and update entity records in our clients internal applications (e.g., APMS, LiveLink).
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of entity data in line with internal standards and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain and update project trackers.
• Provide weekly feedback on progress to supervisors.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to resolve data issues.
• Communicate frequently with line of business and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in KYC/AML would be an asset.
• Familiarity with industry type classification and US NAICS codes would be an asset.
• Ability to quickly adapt to internal systems.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous experience in data remediation or similar tasks.
• Analytical skills to review, investigate, and correct entity data.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
