We are seeking a highly organized and versatile Operations Coordinator to join our Montreal team. This pivotal role requires a proactive individual capable of wearing multiple hats, supporting the owners with assistant-type tasks, and driving operational efficiency. The Operations Coordinator will manage inventory, streamline processes, and ensure seamless execution of day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes ownership of tasks to see them through to completion without needing constant reminders. While no French language skills are required, proficiency in inventory management, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel is essential.
Responsibilities
Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, coordinating restocks, and ensuring accuracy in inventory records using Apparel Magic or similar software.
Implement and maintain operational processes as directed by the owners, ensuring consistency and efficiency across workflows.
Assist owners with administrative tasks, including scheduling, correspondence, and project coordination.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and creating spreadsheets to support operational and financial tracking.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to manage purchase orders, deliveries, and product sourcing.
Monitor and reconcile financial transactions using accounting software, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
Take ownership of assigned projects, driving them to completion with minimal supervision and proactively addressing challenges.
Adapt to a variety of tasks, from logistical coordination to customer service support, as needed to support business operations.
Maintain organized records and documentation to support audits, inventory checks, and operational reviews.
Contribute to process improvements by identifying inefficiencies and proposing actionable solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in inventory management and familiarity with accounting software, with a strong preference for Apparel Magic.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and data visualizations.
Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Computer-savvy, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and systems.
Ability to take initiative, work independently, and bring tasks to completion without needing reminders.
Openness to performing a wide range of duties, from administrative support to operational coordination.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with owners, suppliers, and team members.
Prior experience in a coordinator or assistant role, preferably in a small to medium-sized business, is an asset.
No French language skills are required; however, fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential.

Compensation
