Primary responsibility is to assist in the support, implementation, training, and maintenance of our business system user’s software. Other responsibilities include assisting with setting up software security, answering help desk calls, opening tickets, creating purchase orders/requisitions, processing invoices, and answering technical system questions. Key Responsibilities: Experience in using Microsoft Project to track and maintain projects. Extensive experience in management of multiple inter-dependent projects. Experience in managing virtual teams. Ability to coordinate numerous project teams and effectively conduct the initiative to meet overall objectives. Extensive experience with meeting facilitation and documentation. Experience creating and presenting internal and external status reports and detailed status reports suitable for presentation to the Project Steering Committee and Executive Committee. Experience in completing project deliverables within scope, schedule, costs and quality constraints. Experience in Risk and Issue Management. Strong communication and collaborative skills. Waste Industry project experience. Additional Responsibilities: May assist with IT branch call volume. Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management. Machines, Tools and Equipment: Operates standard office equipment (i.e. personal computer, laptop, printer, facsimile, copy machine, multi-function devices) · Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlooks, Access, Project) experience a must. Knowledge, Skills and Competencies: Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; ability to communicate appropriately with both technical experts and business experts, including business management. Ability to independently manage his/her own work environment and schedule as well as coordinate activities and priorities of others. Strong knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle. Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications. Ability to create detailed project plans and adhere to schedules is a must. Possess excellent customer service skills. High Attention to detail and quality, action oriented, ability to work within stringent deadlines. Strategic thinking and analytical skills required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to consolidate and integrate a wide range of inputs. High level of mathematical skills. Knowledge of JDEdwards and Soft-Pak a plus. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Information systems, or equivalent; or relevant combination of education and experience. Minimum 6 years of work experience in project management and business systems management. Physical/Mental Demands: Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers and talk. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Working electrical equipment, wiring, and network cables. Working conditions: Work in office environment 100% of the time. Work in front of computer terminal for majority of the day. Noise level is usually moderate. Some travel may be required.
