About the Role Reporting to the Manager, Service Delivery the successful candidate will provide technical analysis and support for computer hardware, desktops/laptops/cell phones, printing, telephony systems, collaboration/productivity tools as well as off-the-shelf and customized software for OPTrust. What You’ll Do Provide technical expertise in the administration and support of computer, network, and telephone systems. Ensure proper installation/deployment of computers and peripherals which could include but are not limited to laptops, desktops, collaboration/productivity tools, telephony equipment and multifunction printers. Escalate hardware, software and application issues to the appropriate specialist/vendor as required, after comprehensive initial triage and troubleshooting. Troubleshoot computer, telephony, and network problems; using diagnostic software or other testing methods to identify problems and take corrective action. Available to work overtime as required, supporting business operations for the organization, including providing regular weekend on-call support. What You Bring Undergraduate degree/diploma and evidence of progressive development in an IT discipline. 2 to 3 years of related experience preferably in financial/pension/investment services environment. Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory/Azure AD/ Endpoint Manager, collaboration/productivity tools, personal computers/laptops/cell phones and peripherals such as multifunctional printers to provide support, implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting services to OPTrust. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of products (including Office 365). MCSE and A+ certificate are assets. ITIL V3 foundations certificate is preferred. Strong customer service skillset. Great networking, relationship building and influencing skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
