What we offer:Rate: $54.00 / hourShift 4 on 3 off with 10 hour daysFull IMMEDIATE Benefits, health spending account and matching pension contributionsKey Duties & Responsibilities:Install new mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, air dryers, converters, heat exchangers, relief valves, pressure-reducing valves, condensate tanks, recirculation pumps, booster pumps, pneumatic controls, coils, isolation valves, 3-way valves, condensate traps)Fit up and prepare piping requiring welded jointsLiaise and collaborate with other trades, consultants and suppliersCleans condensate traps and equipment strainersProvides occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and specifications to determine layout requirementsCut openings for pipe in walls, floors and ceilings using hand or power tools or machinesMeasure, cut, thread and bend pipe to required shape using hand and power toolsThread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of piping systemInstall supports, valves, piping and control systemsTest system for leaks using testing equipmentOther duties as assignedRole SpecificationsJourneyman status requiredvalid driver's license (NO GDL) with no more than 4 demerits in last 3 years)Experience working in industrial plant settingH2S Alive, CSTS 2020 or CSO and First Aid requiredConfined Space entry, Fall Protection, Aerial Work Platform are considered assetsMust provide negative Drug & Alcohol result from CEDA booked testingAdditional InformationThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
