Job Overview
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking a qualified Oilfield Electrician for a full-time position based in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The successful candidate will perform maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in a dynamic oilfield environment. This role offers stable, year-round work with opportunities for professional growth.
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an oilfield setting.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow all safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Coordinate with other trades and site personnel to complete work efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of experience in an industrial or oilfield setting.
Solid understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and oilfield safety practices.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in oilfield production or plant operations.
Familiarity with PLCs and automated control systems.
Previous work in high-voltage or hazardous locations considered an asset.
Work Environment:
Outdoor industrial/oilfield settings with exposure to changing weather conditions.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
