If so, Medcan is the place for you! Position Overview: An exciting four-month internship opportunity to work with an established leader in Canadian healthcare. The Legal Intern role will be part of the Corporate Services team where the successful candidate will get hands-on experience working on designated projects while working with internal and external stakeholders. This internship will run full-time from September to December 2025. Our paid internship program gives students practical work experience, learning and development workshops, social outings, and an opportunity to network with our leadership team. Please include a resume and a transcript as part of your application. What You'll Do: Assist in policy development, legal research, and other legal, compliance and risk programs and initiatives. Manage multiple projects and activities of varying complexity while under time constraints. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Need: 3rd or 4th year College or University student pursuing law. Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Previous research experience, specifically using Canlil, and other legal resources is valuable. Excellent written and spoken grasp of English, with a proficiency in French considered an asset. High precision and attention to detail, patience, and ability to work with repetitive tasks. Determination to meet deadlines, multitask, work on urgent matters, and set priorities is a must. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. You will work a hybrid model with 2 days in office per week, with full-time hours Monday to Friday.
