We are currently recruiting for a detail orientated, process and quality focused team player who is self-motivated and goal driven to fill the position of Industrial Electrician based out of our Oliver, BC Production Facility / Jackson-Triggs Winery. The Jackson-Triggs Winery is a full-service operation from harvest through to final distribution; operating year-round and producing some of the industry’s most awarded wines. The Role: As an Industrial Electrician you will be an integral part member of our Maintenance team and will be responsible for the maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical equipment and PLC systems within the Oliver Production Facility. What you'll be doing: Electrical repairs and preventative maintenance within Oliver Production Facility including all production equipment Provide preventative maintenance and repairs in maintaining PLC based control systems Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions Troubleshoot industrial control systems and devices Install, examine, replace or repair electrical components Test equipment and components for current, continuity and voltage Maintain, repair and test switchgears, transformers, regulators and reactors Maintain, repair and test motors, generators and control systems Maintain contact with supervision and co-workers in order to ensure and report progress Maintain compliance with all company policy and procedure guidelines Utilize proper waste disposal procedures Assist and support the department in achieving and maintaining budgetary goals Maintain an accurate log of all parts used and assist in maintaining inventory Support and assist Millwrights as required Job requirements: Certified Industrial Electrician (Red Seal Endorsement) Minimum 5 Years of experience within plant operations, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with a solid understanding of automated systems is required.
