Job Description: We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Contract Packaging Equipment Operator in our Oliver production facility. This position is responsible for maximizing output for the bottling operation with no quality defects on all lines as required. This will be a 4 month contract. Key Responsibilities: Ensure timely start up of equipment and the use of correct materials at all times Maintain a continuous production flow by making the necessary adjustments and corrections to equipment Diligently record and maintain all quality inspections and downtime as required Minimize losses or raw material and report excessive defective material Assist other positions on the line as required to maintain continuous production and assist with line changes What you bring: Grade 12 education and experience in manufacturing environment preferred Effective communication and people skills Ability to multi-tasking Team player Goal oriented Mechanical aptitude (equipment knowledge) ISO 9001:3000 HACCP WHMIS What we offer: An organization that cares about Corporate Social Responsibility Training & Development Programs An opportunity to learn about the world of wine Compensation: $21.00/hr We are committed to establishing a qualified workforce that reflects the diverse population it serves and we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
