You will actively contribute to the design, updating and standardization of technical drawings for various engineering projects related to chemical processes, mechanical equipment and production facilities. How you'll make an impact Produce detailed 3D and 2D technical drawings for simple and complex mechanical systems, including industrial piping systems, furnaces, presses, walkways, steel structures, production tooling, plant layouts, etc. Interpret and update P&IDs, installation and manufacturing drawings Collaborate with process, instrumentation and control, mechanical and industrial engineers to ensure compliance of drawings with project requirements. Participate in the development and implementation of a company-wide drawing standard Ensure compliance of drawings with industry standards (ASME, CSA, ANSI, ISO, etc.), regulatory and internal requirements Manage and organize technical documents within a document management system Participate in field surveys as required Your background Minimum 10 years' experience in design and drafting in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Very good knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment, piping systems, chemical processes, platforms, presses, lifting equipment and metal fabrication methods.
