Job Description: Department Overview: The Personal Lending team is part of the Canadian Card Payments, Loyalty & Personal Lending group (CCPL&PL) within Canadian Personal Banking (CPB) at TD. The team is responsible for product and pricing strategies, product development, customer lifecycle management, and the financial performance of Personal Lending products, including Unsecured Lending and Lines of Credit. This Senior Manager, Pricing Personal Lending role reports into the AVP, Personal Lending. The Senior Manager, Pricing, Personal Lending, oversees the end-to-end management of TD's Personal Lending product pricing strategies. This includes defining the pricing strategy and objectives and positioning, developing pricing features, outlining benefits and characteristics tailored to customer needs, and establishing pricing and promotional strategies aligned with the Bank’s profitability and risk appetite objectives. The role also supports business strategies for customer acquisition and product utilization, serving as a source of innovation through customer insights to enhance customer and colleague experiences. Additionally, the Senior Manager is accountable for achieving business results and profitability, collaborating closely with the Borrowing for My Needs Journey to deliver pricing features and meet core targets and key metrics. Key Accountabilities: Champion development and implementation of Personal Lending pricing strategy, including the development of strategic roadmaps, defining and recommending alternatives with insightful analysis and implementation assessments. Monitor and manage product margins to meet financial and business objectives. Lead pricing recommendations for Acquisition and Account Management Campaigns. Oversee the Bank of Canada rate change playbook for Personal Lending. Manage the Customer Level Pricing grid and implement rate changes. Maintain effective relationships with key partners (e.g., Product, Journey, TBSM, Risk, Finance, Marketing). Lead pricing initiatives and strategic projects from concept to delivery, including successful implementation of Precision Pricing for the Personal Lending portfolio. Drive pricing analytics and modeling strategies with the AI2 team to build out new concepts and future capabilities for pricing. Direct and interpret market research to understand competitive landscapes and evolving customer needs, translating insights into actionable strategies. Identify and manage pricing-related risks (market, credit, operational), ensuring robust policies and processes are established and maintained. Provide thought leadership and industry expertise, actively participating in knowledge transfer within the team and broader business units. Drive financial results for the pricing portfolio by leveraging pricing, margin, volume, and other strategic levers. Develop and present business cases to achieve strategic outcomes such as acquisition, retention, customer experience enhancement, engagement, and market share growth. Refine pricing management strategies through detailed analysis of financial performance, ongoing competitive research, and evaluation of marketing and risk management tactics. Support Senior Management as a subject matter expert for the pricing strategies/portfolio through comprehensive written and verbal presentations, including pricing overviews, strategic roadmaps, planning and forecasting sessions, and strategic reviews. Experience & Education: Previous Pricing experience an asset. Undergraduate degree and designation preferred (e.g., CFA, CPA). 7+ years' relevant experience, preferably in financial services or lending products. Advanced ability to conduct pricing research, perform analysis, develop pricing strategies, forecasting, and competitive intelligence interpretation. Strong business and financial acumen; reading and analyzing a Lending P&L. Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet multiple concurrent deadlines. Demonstrated leadership in planning, executing, and evaluating program/project activities to ensure successful pricing initiatives. Ability to forecast strategically and contribute effectively to the long-term direction of the pricing management function, providing strategic advice to senior leadership. Excellent communication skills, including presentation, writing, relationship building, and collaborative problem-solving across diverse teams and functions.
