Act as an expert and execute supplier management governance requirements and best practices within Global Functions Technology (GFT); support the strategic direction for Global Functions Tech supplier management (relationship management, performance management, risk management, innovation management) for process, tools and people, and in alignment with the T&O Supplier Management Office, the Global Supplier Management team and in coordination with the GFT Supplier Delivery Management Office (i.e. for vendor PARs as required) Determine and provide reports to the Global Functions Tech SVP and the leadership team and analyze supplier performance to ensure value for services/spend; collaborate with the Global Functions Tech’ Financial Management team to track supplier spend and track supplier cost savings Interact daily across businesses on the full range of supplier management matters related to compliance, target tracking, multi discipline service quality, and transformational change (processes and technologies), as the Global Functions Tech central point of contact for the T&O Supplier Management Office, the Global Supplier Management team and the Global Functions Tech Supplier Delivery Management Office (i.e. compiling and consolidating data as necessary), as well as the central point of contact for all teams in the Global Functions Tech portfolio, providing guidance and support for supplier management needs (i.e. coordinate information dissemination across Global Functions Tech) Lead and participate on planning initiatives as required to support the Global Functions Tech portfolio (i.e., communication session support, community action team activity, ad hoc reporting) Structuring and negotiating outsourcing arrangements, and monitoring adherence to agreed-upon service levels. Developing outsourcing policies and strategies to maximize vendor effectiveness. Monitoring vendors performance and industry trends. Supervising outsourcing processes and procedures and troubleshooting problems to ensure the continuity of outsourcing business. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: Undergraduate degree coupled with experience in Third-Party Supplier management and Delivery Management practice in the financial services industry. Strong organizational, project management, and time management capabilities are essential. You must be deadline-driven and results-oriented, able to consistently meet high-quality standards while managing multiple tasks and deadlines. Demonstrated excellence in both written and oral communication is a must. You should be proficient in effectively and timely communicating with stakeholders, understanding their information and communication needs, and presenting information clearly and persuasively. Strong analytical and rational thinking, supported by solid writing skills are essential for documenting and communicating effectively. You should be able to grasp stakeholder expectations and align your communication accordingly. Industry Insight: An understanding of the financial services industry or technology sector, coupled with a familiarity with regulatory environments, will greatly enhance your ability to succeed in this role. Nice-to-have: Risk and Control management knowledge and industry experience. Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses. Ability to partner with diverse stakeholders in complex scenarios with excellent liaison, communication, influence and presentation skills.
