The successful candidate will deliver technical training to Dealer technicians and TCI internal technical staff and to ensure the optimal level of service repair and maintenance for Toyota and Lexus vehicles across Canada. (e.g. course set-up) Provide ongoing maintenance to standardized training fleet and maintain vehicle specific service records Deliver courses including confirmation of attendance, assessment tests/quizzes, and interactive feedback to ensure the highest degree of content integrity and learning by the students Maintain an engaged collaboration with the Consultant, Technical Curriculum in relation to course content and recommendations to ‘kaizen’ Actively participate in ‘team meetings’ to review and develop course materials and content to further advance the technical education/ability of Toyota and Lexus technicians Assist with the maintenance of SOPs as identified by Manager Maintain zone training centres to TSM level Maintain ongoing involvement / awareness of new and changing automotive technology both Toyota/Scion and Lexus and competitors Work with Manager, technical consultant and training to coordinate budget Assist the curriculum technical course developer whenever required during course development What You’ll Bring: Class A, Licensed Automotive Technician –preference red seal 5-10 years’ work experience as auto technician or, equivalent experience Shop Foremen or Lead hand experience Valid driver’s license Excellent command of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) Excellent oral communications Education in the fundamentals of adult learning Bilingual (French and English) capabilities an asset (French mandatory for Quebec zone) About Us Toyota Canada Inc. is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.
