To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Manager, QA you’ll join CIBC’s Core Banking & Payments Technology - Quality Assurance department and be responsible for managing people – assigning testing tasks as they pertain to production fixes, currency/capacity/refresh initiatives, patching, certificate management, etc. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. How You’ll Succeed Quality Assurance Management – Your people and project management expertise will be helpful in supporting your team. You will play a leadership role by developing, and upholding processes and practices for the team. Actively manage project assignments, resources and financials. Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems to support resources with their deliverables. Collaboration – Work horizontally across multiple departments to deliver end to end. Coach and mentor your teams as you work towards a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary. Delivery – Employ a results-oriented approach to ensure successful delivery; proactively manage risk and find solutions. Monitor milestones, and ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets. Who You Are You can demonstrate experience of at least 3-5 years in leading onshore and offshore testing teams. Liaise with production support team finalizing plans, timelines, and resourcing. Knowledge of Quality Assurance (Functional & Automation), and test tools such as HP ALM, UFT, SOA, Parasoft, Selenium, and ConformIQ. You have experience writing test scripts, developing test plans, and end to end testing documentation. You have experience leading a technology team, delivering results, and managing relationships with management enterprise wide. Strategic Development & Execution – Define and manage resource requirements and allocations, monitor and improve quality, and ensure 'best practice' testing techniques. Make recommendations on the ongoing viability of a plan-based functionality, budget, and timelines. People Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems. Relationship Management – Work closely with technology and business partners to test production fixes. Work closely with the Production Support team to ensure team is working on business priorities.
