We are looking for a dynamic People & Culture Manager who thrives in complexity, values connection, and is energized by both the big picture and the everyday moments that make the workplace special. This isn’t your traditional HR role. We're looking for someone who loves making sense of people data but doesn’t want to live in dashboards all day. You'll bring your expertise in HR analytics to help inform strategy, decision-making, and storytelling across the practice, while also rolling up your sleeves to support the unique needs of our Vancouver studio—home to passionate architects, designers, engineers, and change-makers.

This is a dual-impact role:
Studio People Support (75% of role): Be the trusted go-to for Vancouver studio DIALOGers. Support day-to-day HR needs like recruitment, onboarding, engagement, policy support, and cultivating culture. You’ll be embedded in the fabric of the studio, executing P&C initiatives with the local teams and helping people do their best work.
HR Analytics Lead (25% of role): Use data to uncover insights about our people, inform talent strategies, and drive action across the practice. You'll work on everything from headcount reporting and turnover trends to deeper analysis around engagement, equity, and retention.
What You'll Do
Design and deliver people analytics dashboards, reports, and presentations to inform decisions across the Practice.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that help shape a better employee experience for DIALOGers.
Helpidentify data gapsand evaluate the impact of programs and initiatives.
Support the Vancouver studio with hands-on people needs—whether it’s hiring a new teammate, being a trusted resource and advisor for questions, or coaching bothDIALOGers and Partners.
Collaborate across the studio, with the greater P&C team and Practice to ensure our people practices are aligned, agile, and grounded in trust.
Champion a people-first mindset while driving excellence in our internal practices.
Who You Are
You're a seasoned and high-performing HR business partner, with hands-on work experience in HR data and analytics, ideally within a professional services or Partnership.
A storyteller who brings people data to life, backed by a strong understanding of HR systems, metrics and analytics tools.
Equally passionate about people - you enjoy building relationships, offering practical help, and making someone's day smoother.
Experienced in a heavily matrixed or non-traditional organizational structure - you're comfortable without a rigid hierarchy and know how to influence without authority.
Known for your judgment, discretion, and ability to handle both sensitive conversations and joyful studio moments.
You are results oriented and proactive and can operate successfully with both a high level of autonomy and as a member of a collaborative and connected practice-wide team.
You can multitask in a fast-paced environment, coordinating a broad range of stakeholders from senior leaders to early career professionals and external collaborators.
