It's the perfect work/life combination.Job DescriptionThe Golf Course Ambassador position is the embodiment of the golf experience. You will be the face of The Fairmont Banff Springs at the Point and the 1st tee and on the golf course. This position requires impeccable standards in guest service, organization, care and firmness. You will face a variety of situations and need to be comfortable in facing conflict and confident in resolving situations in the moment using empathy and service excellence. Starting Rate: $18.84 per hourWe recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.91.Job Duties Include: Reporting to the Golf Operations Assistant Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Greet guests and members warmly at the first tee, provide clear directions, explain course rules and amenities, and deliver a personalized start to each round.Oversee tee time management, pace of play, and cart assignments using tools like Tagmarshal, while ensuring safety protocols, wildlife awareness, and daily course conditions are communicated effectively.Engage with guests on-course at least twice per nine holes to enhance the experience, resolve concerns, provide amenities, and share insights about the course, history, and area.Keep tee areas and the course clean and well-stocked, tend to pitch marks, rakes, flags, and range balls, and immediately address any issues or hazards.Track player activity and power cart use, verify payment and membership credentials, and communicate updates with the Pro Shop and Deck team to support smooth operations.QualificationsYour Skills & Qualifications:High School diplomaGolf knowledge is a key assetClass 5 Drivers License and updated drivers abstractPrevious experience in a guest services roleProficient in computer skillsAble to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and occasional split shifts)Ability to deal with high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environmentHighly motivated and guest driven with a proven ability to solve problems and make timely guest
