We’re seeking an Advisor, Investment Finance, Transversal Initiatives and Subsidiaries, who will be responsible for reviewing investment reporting and prepare complex analysis for private market investments. ABOUT YOUR ROLE As an Advisor, Investment Finance, Transversal Initiatives and Subsidiaries, you will: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of accounting, reporting, and management information for private market investments at month-end, quarter-end, year-end, and on an ad-hoc basis Conduct complex analysis by reviewing investment documentation to determine the appropriate accounting treatment and reporting impacts Assist with the annual audit and quarterly reviews in collaboration with auditors Collaborate with other departments to prepare the financial statements, MD&A and quarterly report Handle various other tasks, including ad-hoc requests Build strong and professional relationship with our internal business partners Assist in department initiative and special projects WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting Professional designation (CPA-CA, CPA-CGA or CPA-CMA) is required Minimum seven (7) years related working experience Good understanding of private market investment operations is an asset Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance Team spirit and ability to work in a high-performance culture Highly organized and multitasking skills Adaptability and flexibility Autonomy and sense of responsibility High degree of professionalism with strong spoken and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and highly capable of prioritizing Experience in financial services is an asset Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to quickly master computer systems Proficiency in English and French (or willingness to learn) (frequent interactions in English with PSP employees based in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa) We offer a tailored employee experience and competitive total rewards and benefits package designed to attract and retain global diverse talent, reward performance, and reinforce business strategies and priorities.
