About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and confident Construction Labourer who takes pride in their work and can operate both independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a professional but approachable environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general carpentry and construction tasks including painting, framing, drywall, millwork, and more.
Communicate effectively and efficiently with foreman, subcontractors, and fellow trades.
Follow direction and implement project changes quickly and efficiently.
Manage time well to stay on task and meet project deadlines.
Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and punctuality, while showing respect and professionalism when working in clients' homes.
Ensure the jobsite is kept safe, clean, and organized.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Pay close attention to detail and maintain a high standard of workmanship.
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in construction and general carpentry.
Supply and maintain your own tools and equipment.
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Physically able to meet the demands of construction work.
Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and out-of-town jobs as needed.
Comfortable with multiple site visits in a day.
Ability to provide clear timesheets and invoices (subcontract position)
Additional Information:
3-month probationary period.
Full-time contract and/or hourly.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
