Editorial Manager/Content Lead
Department: Content
Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time
Location: Vancouver
Reporting To: Head of Content
Compensation: $80,000 - $95,000 / year
Description
Changing consumer behavior in a cookieless world, the rise of GenAI, and the need to avoid commoditization is all transforming the practice of Marketing & Communications. As an Editorial Manager/Content Lead at Quietly, you will lead that charge, helping the world’s leading brands drive their business with content.
Working in collaboration with our Insights and Delivery teams, an Editorial Manager/Content Lead provides leadership to their clients and is responsible for managing all content deliverables on their accounts including written editorial, graphics and video. It’s a combination of strategy, planning, creative ideation, editing, team and project management, client servicing and advisory all in one.
You bring experience from creative agencies or publishing and the confidence to work on completely new types of projects; challenging long standing assumptions, defending recommendations, and delivering high-value client work for category-leading organizations. You’re as passionate about inspiring content as you are about editorial consistency and effectiveness—and you have no shortage of great ideas to elevate your clients’ content and help them excel in their categories. You inspire your teammates to raise the bar on every level – from brief to execution – because you fully understand this new experience economy, how and why audience expectations are transcending categories, and where the future is headed for B2C and B2B brands. You are looking for the next big challenge, and like us, you have no small plans.
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive base salary, 3-weeks vacation, comprehensive benefits package, and the flexibility to work remotely during North American business hours, from our headquarters in Vancouver, or a hybrid of both. If these values resonate, we’d love to hear from you.
