As a leader on the HR Technology & Operations team, the Associate Director, People Analytics, will help continuously improve the health and scalability of reporting solutions. This role owns the execution of employee data governance within HR that ensures data quality and security throughout the employee life cycle. What you will do: Thought and People Leadership Assess the current reporting landscape to develop and implement a strategy and roadmap for HOOPP’s human capital data. Evolve and enhance people analytics solutions to meet both short-term and long-term business needs, including the introduction of artificial intelligence into analytics solutions. Define key performance indicators for people metrics in partnership with HR and business leaders across the organization. Lead HOOPP’s people analytics function, including evolving the team’s capabilities through coaching and development opportunities. Analytics & Data Visualization Implement self-service reporting platform(s) & dashboards which offer elevated data visualization capabilities for business leaders and HR. Partner with functional stakeholders such as Finance, IT and HR to drive workforce analysis. Lead scenario planning, forecasting, and future state modeling of workforce analytics. Run ad hoc analyses on people data to inform decisions related to human capital and strategic business initiatives. Build analytics and narrative capabilities within HR through data literacy training focused on root cause analysis, interpreting people data, storytelling with data, and action planning. Workday releases and implementations Contribute to Workday releases and implementations. Ensure current and future reporting and analytics requirements are considered and planned for. Help drive department results by supporting and collaborating with team members responsible for various solutions including reporting, configuration, HR Helps, Payroll, integrations. Assist in the implementation of Workday change requests in all functional areas: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, and Talent Management, ensuring configuration meets our evolving business needs. Support corporate HR initiatives and other human capital projects. Data Governance Adhere to governance processes to implement changes to Workday configuration, including a defined process for making changes to custom report configuration. Establish control of data security and protection. Partner with HR, IT and Risk teams to ensure the data privacy and security throughout the employee life cycle. Oversee the quality of data and delivery of reporting to various stakeholders. Recommend data optimization measures to improve reporting performance. Delivery of HR Services Create configuration requirements and maintain knowledge articles. Support users in adopting HR solutions offering information sessions, training, documentation, etc. Provide user support, troubleshoot data issues as required. What you bring: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration field or equivalent work experience within the information technology industry or HR and data management experience. 7+ years of experience in people analytics or HR data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or strategy-setting role 5+ years’ experience in building HR Reports/Dashboards. Proficiency in Power BI (or similar tools like Tableau) Preferred: Workday report writer, Workday Functional Certifications; Workday Pro certification in one or multiple HCM modules. Experience managing or mentoring direct reports preferred. A strong understanding of HR Business processes from hire to retire Knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling techniques Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team, promoting a work environment that encourages continuous improvement, innovation, and collective learning Ability to take initiative.
