Career Opportunity Role Title Enterprise Architect - AI Purpose of role The AI Enterprise Architect ensures the alignment of strategic business goals and objectives and is responsible for the design of AI-enabled capabilities within the enterprise architecture practice. This includes the design, implementation and consumption of AI models and services while capturing the requirements for the services. Job Description Key Responsibilities Provide vision and leadership to technical AI teams to achieve a cohesive overall IT strategy. Organize and lead AI governance committee meetings, bringing together leaders from across Foresters. Provide thought leadership, build and execute a roadmap that encompasses AI vision and strategy Work with Portfolio and Business leaders to drive high-level solution designs in alignment with product and technical roadmaps, ensuring clear communication of AI strategic objectives Collaborate across business and technology segments to find and prioritize AI opportunities and demand, showcasing ideas in the innovation and emerging business pipeline Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and/or software procurement Envision and build AI operating model and support model while executing on AI-related advancements Provide leadership and guidance during the project delivery process to ensure successful delivery of solutions that meet the needs of the business and adhere to Foresters Architecture standards Lead AI review board to collaborate and ideate developing and using AI to support business and technology use cases Champion AI learning and development programs to enhance organizational competency and foster AI adoption Collaborate with IT, Compliance, and Risk functions to evolve existing AI Policy and AI governance framework as the organization matures in AI enablement Take technology solutions through to approval and acquisition of standard and non-standard technology components and services Lead the development of a comprehensive and robust Technology Roadmap that encompasses AI components and delivers capabilities needed to meet Foresters' strategic direction Assist with the IT strategic planning effort by providing input on technology trends and identifying opportunities for leveraging technology Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology either through improvements to the efficiency of our technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations Define architectural standards for all technology services and components (applications, data, integration, technology, security, business) Lead the development of architectural-related artifacts based on TOGAF deliverables Key Qualifications University degree in computer science, data science, or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications Any relevant certifications such as Azure Ai Engineer, Data Scientist, etc. would be preferred. 7-10 years of progressively increasing responsibility in an Enterprise Architecture and / or Data Science Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps Hands-on experience in AL/ML and MLOps Good understanding of the life insurance business and financial services (e.g., Policy Administration, New Business/Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Compensation) and how technology solutions play a key enabler role Demonstrated ability to maintain knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, standards, and practices and consistently apply these standards accordingly Proven knowledge of information technology security, confidentiality, and privacy practices and regulations Ability to coach and mentor team members in a positive and proactive manner Strong verbal and written business and technical communication skills Ability to map technology to business problems and vice-versa Ability to lead and inspire others through conviction and vision – able to market solutions and exercise influence through the power of ideas rather than by mandate Strong organizational skills with the ability to facilitate technical reviews or design sessions?
