What we offer
Reporting to the Director, Homebuilding Technologies, the Manager, Homebuilding Technologies will oversee business applications and processes supporting Mattamy’s construction management solutions across its Canadian and US operations. This role leads a team focused on the development, implementation, and support of these tools, ensuring alignment between technology and business needs. The Manager also oversees third-party vendors and works closely with stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.
What you’ll do
Manage a team of Business Analysts, whose responsibilities include planning, requirements definition, solution design, test planning and execution and implementation of business applications, system upgrades or enhancements
Develop and manage relationships with internal customers including the ownership of stakeholder communication.
Guide solution design and approve all project work completed by their team
Be accountable for the capabilities supported by their applications and seek opportunities for capability improvement
Responsible for the operational support that their team provides and ensure all appropriate service levels and quality objectives are met
What you bring
Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field or equivalent working experience
Minimum 10 years in systems implementation and/or project experience
Minimum 3 years of team management experience
Experience interpreting or designing business processes, workflows, and systems to proactively identify solutions or opportunities for application improvements (e.g. utilizing application functionality or improving application system performance)
Experience with schedule management solutions
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, management, and project teams.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience in service delivery with a strong client/customer focus
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Ability to travel to divisions in North America for project related work
Bonus points
Implementation and/or application management experience with BuildPro, Procore, JD Edwards Enterprise One, homebuilding and/or other systems and platforms
Experience in any of the following homebuilding business functions:
Home Construction
Home Warranty
Purchasing/Procurement
Experience in managing and working in a multi-client/multi-division environment
