What You'll Be Doing Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and Mines Code requirements for all personnel and operations. Perform Shiftboss duties as per the Mines Code. Coordinate processing, stockpiling, and load-out activities using detailed operational plans. Monitor operations and manage staff to achieve efficiency and compliance with the collective agreement. Communicate with maintenance and technical services to prioritize activities and ensure product specifications are met. What Are We Looking For Post-secondary education in a mining-related discipline or significant operational experience in mining and manufacturing. BC Ministry of Energy & Mines Shiftboss certificate. Strong leadership skills with experience in health & safety management, human resources and labour relation management in a unionized environment. Proficiency with computer systems including Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, Kronos Time & Attendance, and CAD. Knowledge of aggregate mining, material processing, quality control, and marine bulk transport methods. Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing setting. Collaborative team atmosphere.
