Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? This opportunity is an 18-month contract with full-time hours and there is a possibility for contract extension or the position becoming permanent. The work arrangement is hybrid and flexible. As a High-Net-Worth Insurance Associate with RBC Wealth Management Financial Services Inc., you will provide analytical and administrative support to our Vice-President, Estate Planning Services, Advanced Markets, who helps our clients and advisory teams implement customized solutions that maximize wealth and address estate needs. To effectively assist in the development of customized solutions and the coordination of follow-ups with clients and key partners, you will require outstanding communication and organizational skills as well as solid experience in financial planning and presentation software skills. What will you do? Work in partnership with the Vice-President, Estate Planning Services, Advanced Markets, to develop professional quality presentation materials for High-Net-Worth clients and advisors, including the technical and specialized material and analysis concerning financial planning. Analyze clients’ financial documents and prepare summaries and charts based on the information acquired. Assist with administrative duties, as required, including agenda management and scheduling. Provide complex financial projections for clients integrating life insurance with their current assets. Meet with key internal partners to prepare for client meetings and to recommend insurance amount based on the client situation and needs. What do you need to succeed? Must-have A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in strategic estate, insurance, and tax planning for business owners and professionals Financial planning diploma granted by the Institute of Financial Planning and/or representative's certificate in insurance of persons issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly serve our clients and do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 apps, especially PowerPoint and Excel Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills Ability to complete duties independently seeking out own answers and solutions A professional approach to all situations to create a positive working environment Nice-to-have Chartered life underwriter (C.L.U.) designation Strong analytical and problem solving skills Passion for continuous learning and staying current on changes in tax, legal, and insurance regulations What’s in it for you?
