Pay rate: $22
Shift timings: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am- 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule shipments for incoming and outgoing freight.
Prepare accurate shipping documents including bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.
Communicate with freight carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues, delays, or discrepancies.
Maintain and update shipping logs, inventory records, and tracking databases.
Ensure all shipments meet company and regulatory standards for safety and documentation.
Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to prioritize shipments and optimize logistics flow.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability for orders and trigger reorders as needed.
Verify accuracy of shipments by inspecting and comparing shipping documents against physical items.
Implement best practices to reduce shipping costs and improve delivery efficiency.
Handle returned goods and manage reverse logistics procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient with shipping software, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, quickbooks).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with drivers, vendors, and customers.
Familiarity with customs regulations and international shipping procedures is a plus.
