TELUS Health is looking for a part-time Fitness & Wellness Consultant for the Vaughan, ON area.
The Fitness & Wellness Consultant will be responsible for leading wellness initiatives within a corporate environment.
What you will do:
Create and conduct wellness programming such as mindful meditation, walking breaks and stretch breaks
Prepare and present fitness & wellness information both in person and virtually
Facilitate fitness & lifestyle consultations and develop personalized wellness plans based on individual needs, preferences and goals
Book monthly wellness committee meeting, prepare agendas and chair discussions
Report monthly statistics and performance data to support decision making
Qualifications
What you bring
Degree or Diploma in Kinesiology, Nutrition, Wellness, Fitness or Health Promotion
Valid CPR/First Aid/AED required
Current certifications in group fitness and personal training is an asset
Experience in the corporate fitness & wellness field is an asset
Energy, confidence, reliability, engaging with a passion for fitness and health
Ability to work independently
High degree of self-motivation and initiative
Strong organization and time management skills
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and customer service skills
Strong computer skills with ability to adapt to and learn various software applications
