Equinix is looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our People and Legal Technology team, focusing on automation using ServiceNow Creator Studio and App Engine Studio. In this role you will work with our Legal and HR SME’s, Operations and Engineering teams to gain a deep understanding of existing processes, uncover opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions and automations with the goal of delivering great user experiences for our employees. We are looking for someone with expertise in analyzing and improving workflow systems and processes, documenting requirements, implementing solutions, to develop low-code apps as an extension of the platform, conducting and supporting testing, and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices. Responsibilities Business Requirements Analysis Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal Operations, HR Experience Delivery, Engineering, and other stakeholders, to deeply understand challenges, goals and unmet needs Approach problems with curiosity, ask insightful questions and uncover root causes behind customer pain points Drive best practices during requirements gathering Solutions Design, Implementation and Testing Translate business requirements into Epics & stories with technical specifications, ensuring alignment with Equinix's IT strategy and HR and legal compliance Design, configure and implement automations using the ServiceNow platform Where necessary, collaborate with the functional engineering team to further customize low-code solutions System testing, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions Adhere to all release management and platform standards Production Support Collaborate with Engineering to troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Identify improvements to address repeat issues Innovation Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and legal regulations to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation Challenge the status quo and inspire change by proposing bold, forward-thinking solutions Demonstrates an experimental mindset – not afraid to fail fast and sees it as an opportunity to learn and iterate Documentation Create & Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference Qualifications 3+ years of experience in IT or Engineering roles, with a focus on techno-functional analysis and at least 3+yrs a developer experience in coding languages Javascript, CSS, HTML, React, other Hands-on experience in ServiceNow Creator Workflow and App Engine and other low-code solutions, with enterprise-level workflow applications, including configuration and coding of new workflows and/or enhancements Proven experience in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical specifications Strong technical acumen, with the ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering and understand technical concepts, Ability to code on-demand Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions ServiceNow Developer certification is a plus HR and/or Legal domain experience desirable Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.
