Your work will have real-world impact, and you’ll be supported in achieving your career goals. Hours: 10:00am-6:30pm Monday-Friday How will you make an impact? Handle product throughout picking, checking, packing, conveyor, and put-away using RF technology and PCs in a warehouse environment. What will you do? Operate material handling equipment in a safe and controlled manner within a warehouse that stocks hazardous products. Operate remote frequency devices and or computer workstations efficiently in order to update warehouse management and transportation management systems. Receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack, ship orders, and work on conveyor. Follow the company processes, policies and regulatory practices, including handling of hazardous materials, transportation of dangerous goods, ISO, CGP, WHMIS, and Asbestos. Assist, when required, in cycle counting or physical inventory (should a physical inventory be called by corporate). Work efficiently in a team oriented environment. Assists in special projects or other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or DC manager. How will you get here? Requirements Education A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED Experience 1 year of General warehouse experience preferred Able to lift or lower goods up to 50lbs. to or from waist level Qualified equipment operator required (fork lift, order picking truck, reach truck). Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic computer knowledge Good interpersonal skills Motivated, willing to learn and able to work independently Flexible with hours of work and with assignment of tasks as rotation.
