We are currently looking for a Systems Engineering Analyst to join our System of Systems (SoS) Integration team. You will work as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team that has adopted an Agile framework, so you will take part in Scrum events, Sprint reviews, and work collaboratively with our program teams and customers. This position is based on-site at our Ottawa facility. In this role, no two days are the same! Working primarily in a lab environment, you can expect to:Perform system level analysis in order to develop system and hardware level interconnection diagrams for test environmentsDevelop test plans, test cases and procedures, and test methods for system verification testsInnovate with test methods, create automated test programs, and design and participate in validation tests in the lab and fieldRF Experience in order to develop radio test environmentsSet up and configure radios to develop a test case or investigate a problem.You will work side-by-side with the customer in an Integrated Product Team environment and interact with software engineering, systems engineering, and management teamsThis position will include working with Networking and routing, VLANs, Microsoft applications, radios, voice and data networks, and various automation, troubleshooting, and simulation tools (Robot Framework, Wireshark, VCCI, CORE, VBS).Review technical documentation, provide analysisAssist in planning and coordinating test activities Support external test events and field trials •Share knowledge and present ideas to colleagues, provide leadership and mentoring to junior membersPerform other related duties as assignedQualifications7+ years of practical experience, integration and verification of complex electronic systems at a system level (design, development, and verification)Education Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science or equivalent in a related technical degree/diploma supplemented with applicable experience.Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team environmentExperience with communication systems and technologyExperience in defining, developing, and executing system testsFamiliarity with Ethernet communications, networking, VLANs, Internet Protocol (IP)Knowledge of system and qualification test fundamentalsHardware experience to plan rack and cable plant installationsMust be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment.
