About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Distribution, the Supervisor, Distribution is responsible for the management of Coke Canada drivers and the effective distribution of Coca-Cola product to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.
Responsibilities
Supervising a team of ditributiondistribution employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members
Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
Manages drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communbicationcommunication between functions
Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
Manage within labor and OPEX budget, while respecting budgetary constraints
Provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or experience deemed equivalent is required
1-3 years experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
1-3 years experience of supervisory experience required
Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred
Familiarity with department of transportation regulations
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
Strong leadership and communication skills to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
Be familiar with Office and SAP computer tools
