Strong operational management background with demonstrated business development success. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required. Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to balance operational efficiency with strategic growth initiatives. Proficiency in data management and financial planning. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Direct collection and disposal services to maximize personnel and equipment utilization. Establish and maintain high productivity standards across all operations. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and oversee daily completion of driver logs, truck reports, and vehicle inspections. Conduct route audits and maintain accurate data entry in company systems. Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand GFL's market presence. Develop and execute revenue retention and growth strategies. Collaborate with leadership to set and achieve growth objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and community stakeholders. Personnel Management: Hire and train team members to uphold GFL's high standards. Conduct annual performance evaluations and manage compensation adjustments. Implement progressive discipline where needed and ensure fair treatment for all personnel. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement. Financial Management: Assist in developing and executing profit plans focused on revenue growth, cost control, and productivity. Monitor and manage branch profit margins. Forecast capital requirements and personnel needs to support operational goals. Safety Management: Champion a safety-first culture by promoting proactive safety programs. Conduct regular route observations and safety meetings. Investigate accidents and maintain accurate documentation. Recognize and reward safe employee behavior.
