In this role, you are a key leader within Dynacare’s Digital Health and Consumer Innovation team, driving the strategic analysis, delivery, and management of high-impact growth initiatives that align with Dynacare’s mission to be Canada’s Health Solutions Leader. You lead the rollout of innovative programs—including digital/home services, consumer on-demand testing, health insights, care partnerships, and new digital health solutions—seamlessly integrating these initiatives across business lines and client groups to enhance Dynacare’s value proposition. With your expertise in digital health and innovation, you bring together diverse teams to achieve product-market fit and drive commercial success. How YOU will make a difference:
Lead New Digital Health and Innovation Programs
Manage and lead new strategic digital health and consumer innovation opportunities/concepts that support our Dynacare customers and/or specific lines of business (B2C/B2B)
Oversee the entire lifecycle of the product and portfolio working closely with cross-functional leads to deliver on an elevated first-class patient and client experience (ex. on-demand testing, health insights and optimization, Home services 2.0, patient engagement platform)
Marry the changing needs and requirements of our consumers and clients within a competitive landscape, by leveraging Dynacare’s strengths and assets
Bring product and client experience innovation, strategic thinking consumer centricity and collaboration working in collaboration with multiple business lines and their respective leaders
Build and Scale Digital Health Innovation Programs from Strategy to Viability/Scalability
Define overall portfolio strategy for new Digital Health and Innovation initiatives from concept to go-to-market, taking into consideration a holistic healthcare experience with value added services for our customers
Identify and define opportunities to build a strong foundation and viable product/service that meets the evolving needs of our customers
Determine the prioritization of enhancements, features and use cases in collaboration with business line leaders and cross-functional colleagues
Constantly monitor the competitive landscape (established, new entrants, foreign geographic markets) to ensure a leadership position within the Consumer Health landscape
Build product roadmaps in partnership with stakeholders and aligning with committed revenue and adoption targets
Lead the new product development and delivery process for Digital Health and Consumer Innovation products and service from product concept through to launch and across the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with IT, Operations and business line leads (ex. Employer, Pharma, Govt) in developing customer personas, patient journeys and target markets for product/service offering across multiple distribution channels
Define value proposition, features and benefits for new enhancements and features
Lead development of business cases including qualitative / strategic rationale, market adoption / revenue projections, operating and capital costs to secure approval to develop the line of business further
Influence the work of each functional group during the project phase that will cater to many different client audiences (B2C, B2B, B2G, DIS)
Work cross-functionally with BD, Scientific, DIS and Operational teams to ensure solution meets customer needs and delivers on key business objectives around scalable metrics (client adoption growth, revenue, ARPU, retention)
Work with ITSS to align the technology roadmap/infrastructure to support the business vision for products, and embed into product release plans
Work with Marketing to define and implement marketing strategies to launch new products and services
Work with quality team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met
Lead functional requirements, user acceptance testing, and launch planning for launch of new products, and new features for existing product, within a product release plan
Serve as Business Owner for the launch of new services and new features for new digital growth opportunities, within a product release plan.
Develop relationships and partnerships with external stakeholders to support evolving product strategies, roadmaps, and release plans and drive business results.
Work with ITSS, Legal, and other stakeholders to support, and sometimes lead, the development of commercial agreements with key digital technology partners.
Improve visibility into department objectives and priorities through informal/formal communication and collaborative working relationships.
Develop a strong foundational reporting and analytics engine that can provide meaningful insights and statistics on the impact of a leading digital experience that enhances the patient experience with Dynacare
People management/fiscal management.
Coordinate the cross-functional team supporting various digital products
Contribute to annual planning and budgeting processes
Contribute to ongoing continuous improvement
What YOU bring to the role:
Undergraduate degree in business, science, engineering, or related discipline required with 10+ years industry experience in product management and/or digital
Strong knowledge and experience with developing / executing digital platforms/experiences required
Seasoned experienced leading and scaling up new products and finding the intersection between customer needs and product-market fit
Progressive roles leading cross-functional teams in project-based environments
Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry an asset
Understanding of digital health technologies, digital analytics/reporting best practices and market trends required
Understanding of customer production acquisition/GTM strategies and product development processes required
Experience in product launches and working in cross-functional agile delivery teams to drive accelerated and effective product evolution
Experience working collaboratively and cross-functionally with diverse departments, including Operations, Information Technology, Clinical, Finance, and Business Development, as well as external partners is highly desirable
High level of comfort working in an agile delivery environment and working closely with a cross-functional enterprise team that sets the bar high
A blend of strategic mindset with a proven ability to deliver best in class products
Fluency in spoken and written English is required
Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams and influence appropriate plans and actions
Extremely comfortable working with IT/Technology teams and associated external vendors/parties
Strategic mindset, business acumen/commercial awareness to work effectively with business units and to view issues from multiple functional perspectives
Strong change agent who is solution oriented
