Position Overview: The Training & Content Development Specialist will play a critical role in shaping how we deliver learning experiences. You’ll create visually compelling training materials, edit videos, and design social-media style content that drives engagement. You’ll also be responsible for training requirements, maintaining our Learning Management System (LMS) and building dashboard that provide insights into learning effectiveness. Beyond that, you’ll act as a Project Manager – keeping cross-functional teams aligned, ensuring training initiatives stay on track, and bringing innovative ideas to the table. Key Responsibilities: Content Creation & Training Development: Create visually engaging training materials including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, and social media-style content that enhances learning experiences. Leverage AI tools to streamline content development and introduce innovative training solutions. LMS & Training Administration: Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) ensuring training materials are up to date and easily accessible. Track employees training progress and provide data-driven insights into learning effectiveness and compliance. Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead training initiatives by coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring smooth execution. Work with subject matter experts to develop relevant content and stay ahead of AI and learning technology trends to enhance training programs. Experience, Skills, and Competencies: Proven experience in instructional design, content creation, or digital media Strong video editing skills and proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc) Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets for tracking training requirements Experience managing an LMS and developing e-learning content Strong organizational and project management skills Knowledge of AI tools and how they can be applied to learning and development Creative, charismatic and able to engage with diverse audiences Familiarity with AI-driven content tools Why Join GFL?
