Summary: AP Leadership: lead, and coach the accounts payable team including 2 offshore clerks. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company values and guiding principles. Reporting and Problem Resolution: Ensure timely preparation and distribution of payable reports. Perform vendor analysis, expense review, and ad-hoc reporting. Provide problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level. Travel and Expense Program Support: Support the travel and expense program, ensuring compliance with financial policies. Promote accurate and timely processing and reconciliation of expenses. AP Software Implementation: Assist in the implementation of P2P with Coupa, including integration and improvement initiatives. Ensure proper policies and controls are in place during system and process implementations to ensure seamless procurement of payment operations. Payment Oversight: Assist in examining payments to ensure accuracy and compliance. Vendor Management & Compliance Oversight: Manage vendor compliance and establish vendor onboarding processes. Maintain positive vendor relationships. Mitigate risks and ensure contract adherence. Collaborate with the legal team. Generate vendor performance reports and analyze data for improvements. Continuous Improvement: Drive improvement efforts by implementing process improvements, technology-driven solutions, and automation. Collaborate with business systems to optimize financial systems and procure-to-pay operations. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with business partners across various departments to understand their AP management needs. Ensure a streamlined P2P process, including procurement requests, invoice approval, and payment. Month-End Close: Prepare and analyze month-end closing activities, including monthly PO/invoice accrual processes and reconciliations to the general ledger. Partner with the Accounting team as necessary to support month-end close. Invoice Escalations and Communication: Lead and review all invoice escalations and expedited requests. We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.
